Speaker of the Assembly of the Republic Zorlu Töre is in Ankara, where he went as an invited guest, and is making contacts with the accompanying delegation.
Speaker of the Assembly of the Republic Zorlu Töre , together with his delegation, held talks in Ankara.
Töre's accompanying delegation includes Parliamentary Administrative Supervisor MP Yasemin Öztürk, Member of the Presidency Council, Deputy Hasan Kucuk and Members of Parliament Sadık Gardiyanoğlu, Ahmet Savaşan and Emrah Yesilirmak took place.
Zorlu Töre, Töre and his delegation met with the President of the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA) Serkan Kayalar during their visit to Ankara. During the meeting, TIKA President Kayalar informed Töre and his delegation about the activities carried out and planned by the Agency in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.
During the meeting, Töre stated that TIKA is a very important institution for the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus as well as for Motherland Turkey, and noted that the projects carried out by the agency in the country are worthy of appreciation.
“WE WILL STAND BY THE TURKISH CYPRIOT AND CONTINUE TO CONTRIBUTE WITH PROJECTS”
TIKA President Serkan Kayalar stated that they were honored to see Töre and his delegation in Ankara and that they will always stand by the Turkish Cypriot side and continue to contribute with projects.
Within the framework of his Ankara visits, Töre gave statements to some press organizations, especially Anadolu Agency, and made various visits.
In this context, Töre, together with his delegation, met with the Mayor of Çubuk District Baki Demirtaş, Çubuk District Governor Adem Keleş, Akyurt Mayor Hilal Akyurt, Akyurt District Governor Metin Selçuk, Ayaş Mayor Burhan Demirbaş and Ayaş District Governor Muharrem Eligül as well as Cyprus veterans.
Töre also held a meeting with the officials of the Cyprus Foundation, which is active in Ankara.
During the meeting, Semattin Öztürk, President of the Foundation, informed Töre and his delegation about the activities.
ŞENTOP HAD A PHONE CALL WITH TÖRE
Speaker of the Assembly of the Republic Zorlu Töre’s meeting with Mustafa Şentop, the President of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, scheduled for today in the morning, was canceled by Şentop. Coronavirus was canceled after he tested positive yesterday. Şentop had a phone call with Töre.
Töre and his delegation, who have completed their Ankara contacts, are expected to return to the TRNC today.
